When I first launched Iremia Skincare, I knew how important working with a clean beauty certification would be, not just for the brand but for myself. It aligns our company’s commitment to being transparent and providing the best products that are suitable for anyone to use (I was pregnant during the formulation process and had just come out of two miscarriages).
Partnering withCertClean made sense to me. They are North America’s leading certification for safer beauty and personal care products that are formulated without potentially harmful ingredients. The list is constantly changing and evolving but includes over 1,200 ingredients, some of which are very common amongst the beauty industry.
We are so proud to announce that TWO of our products are finalists in CertCleans’s 5th annual Beauty Awards. Both theSoothing Lotion andProtective Cream have made the finalist list for Top Face Cream, along with other amazing green beauty brands, likeBiossance,Helena Lane Skincare,Derma E,Province Apothecary, andCOOLA.
Both of these products were created with ingredients that could calm yet nourish the skin. I wanted to create a product that could soothe your skin while doubling as an age-supporting moisturizer, cutting out clutter on our vanity. Being a busy mom of two, I needed something that could also cut down my morning and evening routine. Byincluding extracts such as African Mahogany Tree Bark Extract, an ingredient that is clinically proven to improve skin elasticity, stimulate collagen production and smooth out fine lines, pores and wrinkles, our Soothing Lotion is an all-in-one multitasker. Your skin will feel comforted as it glides on, absorbs well, leaving your skin soft, fresh, and radiant.
With our Protective Cream, I needed something that would help my sensitive skin when I walked our pup during the harsh, cold Canadian weather. It would also provide deep and rich moisture at night. Formulated for the extremely dry, over-sensitized skin, this rich cream provides the ultimate cocktail with our beautiful blend of palmarosa oil, rose damascena flower oil and avocado oil. Rich cocoa butter also helps provide protection from the elements while improving skin tone and elasticity. It has been a staple during the freezing weather!
By working closely with our chemist, we were able to create these wonderful natural products to support sensitive and redness-prone skin and to support your journey to calm healthy skin.
